Learn to play piano
Such a wonderful instrument and absolute cornerstone of music education. Learning your way around a piano is essential to musical growth and a practical way to learn and begin to apply music theory. Piano is approachable for younger students of at least Kindergarten age. All Guitar and bass students WILL receive limited piano instruction as part of their general musicianship training.
What to expect for Beginners
You’ll learn in a clear, memorable way how the notes lay out on the keyboard. You’ll learn how to position your body, hands and fingers for maximum control and expression. You’ll learn about scales, chords and arpeggios - the basic building blocks of music. You’ll learn to play melodies and accompaniment from songs you love.

Socratic teaching methods utilize students own critical thinking skills to build internal connections and understanding of music theory. Jeff is fully background checked and has completed a course in child safety and abuse prevention. 306 Music does not offer house calls.
